To utilize the full bandwidth of the USB4 interface, please install high performance NVMe M.2 SSD into the enclosure, PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSDs are recommended.
The metal case will turn to a relatively high temperature during operation, which is normal and will not cause damage to your SSD as the metal case will effectively absorb heat.
