The award-winning Leviton Opt-X SDX Mini Wall-Mount Fibre Optic Enclosure expands networking possibilities, meeting the demands of the Internet of Things (IoT), fog computing, and micro data centre environments. Its space-saving footprint is perfect for applications from traditional telecommunications room patching to small-scale edge data centres, offering a compact, zero-RU patching field that can be mounted almost anywhere.
Engineered for versatility, this enclosure provides a range of mounting options including wall-mount, surface-mount, DIN-rail, and even on cubicle walls. It allows for flexible inter-connect or cross-connects between cabling and active equipment while using minimal wall space. The design is ideal for controlled indoor applications such as entrance facilities, equipment rooms, and telecommunications rooms.
Installation is streamlined whether you are performing field termination of fibre connectors, splicing, or deploying pre-terminated plug-and-play solutions. Removable cable entry/exit grommets allow for the easy installation of pre-terminated fibre trunks, provide cable protection, and minimise dust build-up, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
