The Opt-X SDX Wall-Mount Fibre Optic Enclosure is engineered for high-performance interconnect or cross-connect between fibre optic cables and active equipment, all while occupying minimal wall space. Its versatile design facilitates easy field termination of fibre connectors, splicing, or the integration of pre-terminated plug-and-play solutions. This makes it an ideal centralisation point for managing your fibre optic network infrastructure with efficiency and reliability.
Primarily designed for controlled indoor applications, this enclosure excels in environments such as entrance facilities, equipment rooms, and telecommunications closets. The dual-door configuration provides separate, easy access to service and customer sides via convenient slam latches. Its low-profile depth ensures it protrudes minimally from the wall, making it perfect for high-traffic or space-constrained areas.
Constructed from robust 16-gauge steel, the enclosure offers enhanced durability and protection for your critical network connections. Practical features like removable cable entry/exit grommets allow for the smooth installation of pre-terminated fibre trunks, protect cabling, and minimise dust buildup. For added security and cable management, optional key/lock kits and cable strain-relief mounting kits are also available, making this a secure and adaptable solution for any network.
