The Ubiquiti UniFi Device Bridge Pro (UDB-Pro) is a high-performance 5GHz wireless bridge designed for robust outdoor network extension. This device excels at establishing stable, high-speed connections over distances of 5km or more, making it ideal for connecting remote buildings, extending surveillance networks, or linking distant UniFi access points without the need for extensive trenching or cabling. Engineered with an IPX6 weatherproof rating and constructed from UV-resistant polycarbonate and stainless steel, the UDB-Pro is built to withstand harsh Australian outdoor conditions, ensuring reliable performance year-round. It seamlessly integrates into your existing UniFi ecosystem, simplifying management through the UniFi Network Controller.
Equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, the UDB-Pro not only provides a high-throughput wireless uplink but also offers Power over Ethernet (PoE) output on one port. This convenient feature allows you to power a connected UniFi device, such as an access point or camera, directly from the bridge, reducing cabling complexity and the need for additional power outlets at your remote deployment site. With support for Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and a maximum data rate of 867Mbps (BW80), the UDB-Pro delivers impressive wireless speeds for demanding applications, ensuring smooth data transfer across your extended network.
The UDB-Pro's intelligent design includes internal antennas with 19dBi gain for optimised long-range performance and a simple factory-reset button for easy troubleshooting. Its integrated LEDs provide clear status indications for power, Ethernet activity, and signal strength, aiding in quick and accurate alignment during installation. While designed for robust outdoor deployment, it's important to note that the UDB-Pro requires management via a UniFi Console, Official UniFi Hosting, or a Self-Hosted UniFi Network Server, ensuring a centralised and cohesive network experience.
