Ensure reliable power delivery in critical healthcare settings with this specialized 1.5m Medical IEC Right Angled C13 power cord. Designed to meet the stringent demands of hospitals and clinics, this lead features a high-visibility orange jacket that stands out clearly against floor surfaces. This vibrant colouring helps to significantly reduce tripping hazards in high-traffic areas such as operating theatres and patient wards, promoting a safer environment for both staff and patients.
A standout feature of this medical cable is the transparent housing used for both the 3-pin Australian mains plug and the Right Angled IEC C13 connector. These clear plugs allow biomedical engineers to perform instant visual inspections of the internal wiring and termination points, ensuring connection integrity without disassembly. The Right Angled C13 connector is particularly beneficial for equipment placed near walls, as it reduces stress on the cable and saves valuable space.
Constructed for durability and performance, this heavy-duty lead utilizes H05VV-F specifications with 3G1.0mm2 copper conductors. Unlike standard household leads, this 1.0mm2 gauge offers enhanced electrical stability for medical devices. The plug is rated for standard 10A 250V outlets, while the 3-core design includes an earth connection, making it suitable for a wide range of Class I medical equipment requiring a C13 inlet.
The concise 1.5m length provides the optimal reach for connecting devices on medical carts or workstations without creating dangerous clutter. It eliminates the need to coil excess cable, keeping the workspace tidy and sterile. Backed by a 3-year warranty, this power cord is an essential component for maintaining a compliant and organized medical workspace.
