The TP-Link Omada EAP670 is a high-performance AX5400 Ceiling Mount Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Access Point designed to meet the demands of modern business environments. Leveraging the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology, it delivers impressive aggregate speeds of up to 5378Mbps, with 4804Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. This makes it an ideal solution for high-density settings such as hospitality, education, retail, and offices where reliable, high-speed connectivity is paramount.
Equipped with a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, the EAP670 ensures that your wired backhaul never becomes a bottleneck, allowing the full potential of Wi-Fi 6 speeds to be realised. The device supports advanced features like HE160, which doubles the data at peak transmission times on a single stream, and OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies that increase network capacity and efficiency. These features work together to provide seamless connections for over 250 concurrent clients.
Integration into the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform provides 100% centralised cloud management, allowing you to control your entire network from a single interface anywhere, anytime. The EAP670 also supports Zero-Touch Provisioning for efficient, remote deployment, and AI-Driven technology to optimise wireless performance and reduce interference. This comprehensive management ecosystem simplifies operation and maintenance while enhancing overall network reliability.
Installation is flexible and straightforward with support for both 802.3at PoE+ and a DC power supply. The elegant, easy-mount design allows for seamless integration onto walls or ceilings, blending into various interior styles. With robust security features including WPA3 encryption, captive portal authentication, and rogue AP detection, the EAP670 ensures a secure and high-quality Wi-Fi experience for both staff and guests.
