The Moxa EDS-G2008-EL is an industrial-grade unmanaged Ethernet switch designed to deliver reliable Gigabit connectivity in demanding environments. Featuring eight 10/100/1000BaseT(X) ports, this switch is perfect for expanding your network with high-bandwidth devices like cameras and sensors. Its plug-and-play design ensures effortless installation, while advanced features like Quality of Service (QoS) and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP), easily configured via DIP switches, help stabilise your network by prioritising critical data and preventing traffic overload.
Engineered for industrial resilience, the EDS-G2008-EL is housed in a rugged, fanless metal enclosure that supports standard DIN-rail mounting, saving valuable cabinet space. The compact form factor does not compromise on durability, making it suitable for factory automation, intelligent transportation systems, and other harsh industrial settings. It is built to withstand the rigours of the factory floor while ensuring consistent network performance.
To maximise uptime in mission-critical applications, the switch is equipped with redundant dual 12/24/48VDC power inputs. This crucial feature ensures the device remains operational even if one power source fails, providing a layer of reliability that standard commercial switches lack. A relay output also provides a warning for power failures, allowing for proactive maintenance and fault prevention.
Combining high-speed performance, industrial-grade construction, and essential network management features, the Moxa EDS-G2008-EL offers an economical solution for industrial Gigabit Ethernet connections. Its blend of simplicity, reliability, and advanced functionality makes it an ideal choice for upgrading industrial networks to meet the demands of modern data-intensive applications.
