Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 adds detection and response capabilities such as full EDR, automated investigation and remediation, advanced KQL-based hunting, Live Response remote access, Microsoft Threat Experts, and vulnerability management. This is an add-on for organizations already using Microsoft 365 E3 that require advanced endpoint security.
