The UniFi Dream Machine Beast is a datacenter-inspired, hyperscale-class cloud gateway engineered to provide unprecedented processing power and networking capacity for large-scale enterprise environments. Driven by a high-performance octa-core ARM v9 processor running at 2.1GHz and equipped with 16GB of system memory, this 1U rack-mountable console serves as the ultimate central hub for your entire IT infrastructure. It consolidates robust routing, multi-application management, and elite security threat detection into a single streamlined system, reducing deployment complexity while elevating total visibility over your network.
Built for the most demanding enterprise deployments, this gateway possesses a massive client capacity supporting over 7,500 simultaneous users and more than 750 managed UniFi devices. Its sophisticated software architecture runs the full UniFi application suite natively, meaning you can seamlessly oversee network configurations, high-density identity access points, building security hubs, and VoIP systems. Storage is highly optimised with a built-in 128GB SSD for rapid operating system performance, paired with two 3.5" NVR hard drive bays featuring RAID data protection to maintain continuous recording logs.
Security is maintained at ultra-high throughput without compromising speed. The gateway delivers an exceptional 25Gbps threat management throughput across its intrusion prevention and detection systems (IPS/IDS), utilising tens of thousands of real-time threat signatures to block malicious traffic at the perimeter. Network administrators can implement advanced layer-7 application-aware firewalls, zone-based filtering by region or domain, and strict content blocking to comprehensively secure corporate data while retaining maximum packet-forwarding velocities.
High availability and ultra-fast external connectivity are fundamental to the hardware design. It features an integrated 25G SFP28 and 10G SFP+ port array to eliminate bandwidth bottlenecks, paired with a multi-WAN design capable of utilizing up to 8 WAN ports for intelligent failover and load balancing. With support for license-free SD-WAN configurations, automated Shadow Mode high availability via VRRP, and dual power options—including a secondary DC backup connection—your mission-critical operations are fully insulated against power and ISP outages.
