The 4Cabling 4 Port HDMI Rackmount LCD Console is a professional-grade solution designed to streamline server management in high-density environments. Integrating a 4-port KVM switch, a 19" SXGA TFT LCD monitor, a 99-key keyboard with a numeric keypad, and a high-resolution touchpad into a compact 1U rackmount form factor, it provides a complete control station while saving valuable rack space. This unit is built for efficiency, allowing you to manage up to four computers or servers from a single console without the need for complex software configuration or additional hardware clutter.
Installation is fast and straightforward with a plug-and-play setup. Simply connect your servers using the included 1.8m HDMI KVM cables to the corresponding ports. The console features a robust design with a dual-locking mechanism; a manual release catch for pulling the unit out and an automatic lock when pushed back in for secure storage. The 19" LED display provides a crisp 1280x1024@60Hz resolution and can be rotated up to 108° to provide the most comfortable viewing angle for technicians working in the data centre.
The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu provides an intuitive interface for advanced management. Users can easily switch between ports using front-panel pushbuttons, keyboard hotkeys, or the OSD menu itself. The OSD allows for customisation of port names, security settings with password protection for up to 16 characters, and auto-scanning modes to monitor server activity. For expanded control, the console includes an additional console port, allowing you to connect an external monitor, USB keyboard, and mouse to manage the KVM from a secondary location.
Designed for reliability, the KVM supports multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, making it a versatile choice for diverse IT infrastructures. The front panel features integrated LEDs for each port, with green lights indicating an online connection and orange lights showing the currently selected active port. With its durable metal construction, high-fidelity display, and comprehensive cable kit included, this 4Cabling LCD console is the ideal hub for local server control and maintenance.
