Effortlessly manage your high-definition video sources with this professional 4x2 HDMI™ Matrix Switch. This powerful device allows you to connect up to four distinct HDMI™ sources and route any of them to two separate HDMI™ displays independently. It's the ultimate solution for complex home theatre setups, professional presentations, or dynamic digital signage, providing complete control over your video distribution network. Experience breathtaking visual clarity with support for true 4K resolutions up to 4096x2160 at a smooth 60Hz refresh rate, complete with High Dynamic Range (HDR) for enhanced contrast and more vibrant colours.
This matrix switch is engineered with smart features for maximum compatibility and convenience. The HDMI™ outputs incorporate an automatic down-scaling function, enabling you to simultaneously display a 4K source on a 4K screen and a 1080p screen without compromising the original signal quality. This ensures seamless integration with a mix of modern and older displays, making it a versatile choice for any environment. The switch is also designed to handle a wide array of widescreen resolutions, perfect for ultra-wide monitors used in gaming or professional command centres.
Beyond its exceptional video capabilities, this switch includes a versatile audio extraction feature. You can de-embed audio from your selected HDMI™ source and output it to an external amplifier, soundbar, or home theatre receiver via the S/PDIF optical port or the standard 3.5mm stereo jack. It supports a wide range of audio formats, from LPCM to high-definition Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, ensuring your sound is as impressive as your picture. This makes it easy to create a fully immersive audio-visual experience without needing extra converters or splitters.
Control and integration are made simple with multiple management options. Switch between sources and displays using the intuitive front panel buttons for quick, direct access, or use the included IR remote control for convenient operation from a distance. For advanced automation and integration into larger control systems, the device features an RS-232 port, making it a reliable component for command centres, educational facilities, and security monitoring stations where centralised control is paramount.
