This high-density MPO to LC breakout cable is the ultimate solution for modern data centres and high-speed network environments. It is expertly designed to transition a single 12-fibre MPO connector into twelve separate LC connectors, facilitating a smooth and efficient migration from 10GbE to 40GbE or 100GbE. This cable is perfect for connecting high-speed QSFP+ transceivers to existing 10G SFP+ ports, simplifying your network infrastructure and maximising port density without the need for complex patch panels.
Engineered for exceptional performance, this cable utilises laser-optimised OM4 multimode fibre. This advanced fibre type allows for high-bandwidth data transmission over greater distances compared to older OM3 standards, ensuring your network is future-proofed for next-generation speeds. The inclusion of high-quality, low-loss MPO and LC connectors with UPC polish guarantees minimal signal degradation and a highly reliable data link, which is critical for mission-critical applications where uptime and data integrity are paramount.
Built for safety and durability, the cable features a robust OFNR (Optical Fiber Non-conductive Riser) rated jacket. This flame-retardant rating makes it fully compliant and safe for vertical installations through building floors, in-wall applications, and other non-plenum spaces. The main cable body has a 3.0mm diameter, while the individual fanout legs are a durable 2.0mm, providing a rugged yet flexible solution for routing within server racks and cable management systems.
This cable is configured with Type B polarity (key up to key up), which is specifically used for connecting transceivers, ensuring a correct fibre-to-fibre link between devices. The aqua colour of the jacket signifies its OM4 rating for easy identification. The entire assembly is RoHS compliant, confirming it is manufactured without hazardous materials, making it a safe and environmentally conscious choice for your network.
