The Novaris RJ45-24CAT6 is a high-performance 24-port rack-mount surge protector specifically engineered for the protection of equipment connected to twisted pair network cabling systems. This robust unit is fully compliant with CAT5, CAT6, and CAT6A standards, providing a professional-grade solution for safeguarding sensitive network hardware against damaging electrical surges. By utilising a 10kA Gas Discharge Tube per signal pair, it effectively dissipates massive common mode surge energy before it can reach your expensive switches or servers.
Designed for modern high-speed environments, this protector features silicon-based secondary protection elements that ensure exceptional equipment safety while maintaining full Gigabit/1000BaseT network speeds. It is an ideal choice for data centres and enterprise networks where uptime is critical and high-bandwidth performance is a non-negotiable requirement. The low impedance design ensures that data integrity is preserved across the entire 24-port interface.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications are fully supported, including PoE, PoE+, and High Power PoE. The device is capable of passing up to 1A of current per signal pair at up to 80VDC, allowing for Gigabit PoE systems with 4-pair power delivery up to 160W. This makes it a versatile asset for protecting high-draw devices like PTZ cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP systems without sacrificing power efficiency or speed.
Housed in a durable 2RU 19" rack-mountable steel enclosure with a black powdercoat finish, the RJ45-24CAT6 is built for longevity and easy integration into standard equipment racks. It is compatible with both UTP and STP cabling, featuring shield pass-through connectors and a metal body to maintain uninterrupted shielded network spans. This Australian-designed protector meets rigorous international standards, ensuring your infrastructure remains resilient against environmental electrical threats.
